This is a birthday card I made for my friend Marie. I used a Sweet N Sassy digital stamp and my Copic markers to color it in. Adding a little Stickles here and there always makes it prettier too!
Today I am posting a card I made for the PKS Challenge Blog. It was a sketch and color challenge using the colors apricot, teal, and orchid. Most of the paper I used was from Stampin' Up! although I did use a few scraps that are not. I cut the cupcake from the "From My Kitchen" Cricut cartridge at three inches and did a little paper piecing. The face is from Funshine Face Parts (PK-943) by Peachy Keen stamps. The scalloped circle was embossed using the Cuttlebug and the D'Vine Swirls folder. The ribbon and bling is from WalMart...not sure of the brand. Then I used my white Jelly Roll pen to do a little dooding and TA-DA....here it is! Thanks for stopping by and looking! :-)
This is my card for the challenge. I used Copics to color the Pencil Cup digistamp. This challenge inspired me to dig out some old Stampin' Up! stamps that had a school theme to make the green and yellow background papers. The striped patterned paper is a scrap that I had in my scrap heap, and the "ABC" letters are from Colorbok. Thanks for looking!
Hi all! Last Saturday I attended a Copic Certification class. It was so much fun! Learned a lot about the markers and also met some cool people. The instructor was Lori Craig....she was great! And now I am certified as a Copic Designer! Anyway, since then I have been practicing my coloring "skills", and decided to get some new fresh stamps to color. Little did I know there are FREE ones out on the web called "digi stamps" that can be downloaded and printed off your computer. I have posted a blinkie with a good site that has a lot of other links to free digital stamps for personal use. It's a blog called Free Digital Stamps. The blinkie is in the list to the right of this post! Happy Stamping/Coloring!! :-)
Well, not to toot my own horn, but..... TOOT TOOT! I entered nine cards at our county fair, and I got blue ribbons on each one! Also, Second Place for Outstanding Senior Exhibitor! I probably should tell you that there weren't too many other cards entered, and most others also received blue ribbons. LOL! Anyway, just wanted to give the results! I will have some more cards to post soon. Have a great day!
I have loaded some pictures of the cards I entered at the fair. Most of them are stamped images colored with Copic markers. The stamps are from CC Designs (www.allthatscraps.com), and a couple are shapes etc. cut with my Cricut. Thanks for looking! Tomorrow I am taking the Copic certification class, and I hope to learn a lot! I'll check in later!
Ok, so I dropped off my cards at the fair last night. Didn't quite make my goal of two for every category, but I did alright. I will have pictures of the cards loaded today. Most of them are made with CC Designs Stamps from allthatscraps.com, but on a couple I used my Gypsy and Cricut. (Love them!) Have a blessed day! :-)
